FRIDAY!

I can't believe that it's friday, this week went by SO fast...but it was so exhausting! We had a lot going on! Today was a normal day, 5 hours of class but it was a pretty fun day. Fridays we meet in groups called "Prayer and Share." Today was "Prayer and Share Breakfast," so we all went out for breakfast with our small group. My girls went to Mountain Lodge for pancakes. It was so good and it was super nice to get away!
We sang Hebrew songs in Waynes class, that was an experience, and had a dance party on our floor after lunch, in preperation for the talent show. Wow do we have talent! ;o) In Franks class we were so tired that he let us take a 10 min nap. Actually, we were "observing" a bible verse, but he said we could do that with our heads down and eyes closed. Haha. He said it's hard to be so enthusiastic to teach a class when we look like we're melting. I had to make 40 turkey sandwiches tonight...it was a LOT of fun (sense the sarcasm...). Saturdays we only get bag lunches, and since my daily duty is "food prep," I had to help prepare all the sandwiches for it. Not so fun.
After dinner someone dropped me off at Starbucks, and I walked around downtown Estes for a little while, before settling down with my laptop and a cup of tea. It was SO nice to get away for a couple hours. I'm not used to being around 30 girls everyday. As much as I LOVE them, I think I'm so used to being around brothers only, that girls get to be a little much sometimes! I have found that I enjoy hanging with my guy friends more than the girls-even though they make fun of me and tease me...it reminds me of home :o). I was in desperate need of a break from girls, so tonight was wonderful! Now I'm back at school, getting ready to hit the hay. I am waking up at 4:15 am and going into Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park, up a road called trail ridge (above the treeline), to watch the sunrise! It's wicked early, but I know it will be a blast! My plan for tomorrow afternoon? MUCH NEEDED SLEEP! I didn't think I have been staying up that late, but it seems to be catching up with me. Thank goodness I can sleep tomorrow!
