Mountain Biking

Today we had the opportunity to go mountain biking, and this is the real deal. Everyone went into Boulder this afternoon to buy season ski passes. Since I cannot afford it, I decided to get 2 hours of physical fitness out of the way for the week and just give the mountain biking a go. It was the same route we took this past summer when I was out here, and I LOVED it then, so I figured this would be a blast. Oh my goodness...this time I really struggled with it! I'm not sure what it was, but my asthma really acted up and I had to walk my bike up each hill! It definitely took away from the fun of the trip. However, I absolutely enjoyed the ride down! The view is incredible! (picture) I'm really tired now though...I'm going to be sore in the morning!
After class tonight, I sat down next to Kristin on a couch in the student center with a bag of peanut M&M's at 9:00, I ended up getting in such a deep conversation with someone, that I didn't get back to my room until 11:00, and that's only because of curfew. I think that's what I like best about this place. I expected to just have a casual conversation with Kristin, and next thing I knew it turned into this deep, amazing, challenging conversation with a couple other people. Anywhere you go, you can get into the deepest conversations with people you don't even know, and have the best time! I'm absolutely loving that part of being here!
Well, since I spent so much time chatting tonight, I should get some homework done! Goodnight!

P.S.-This is my third day in a row that I did not receive any letters. HINT HINT ;o)
