Sunday's Adventures

Today was quite a day, to say the least. I just got back from playing the craziest game ever. You take the net off a ping pong table, and people sit on each side of the table. The goal is to keep the ball from falling off your side, and blowing it towards the opposite side. You can't use hands or anything. The only way to move the ball is by blowing the ball across the table. It's SO hard not to laugh! We had a blast! What a way to end a Sunday night!
This morning we were in the clouds again today!! Maybe it was fog, but there was a blanket of cloud over everything! It was glorious! We were right above them, and they covered over the whole city of Estes! It was gorgeous to say the least. I posted the pictures on Webshots.
After breakfast we all headed off to a local church for their service and a chili lunch. They had 15 different types of chili! We had to try a couple different kinds and vote on our favorite. Not suprisingly, without knowing who made the chili, Will, our cook here at Ravencrest won. It was pretty funny.
After lunch I played ultimate down on the football field at Estes Park High School. Even the view there was amazing! Thankfully, the guys here don't take it as seriously as they do back home, so they actually throw to girls. It was a blast.
We had a big scare tonight. We held a student only praise and prayer night in the downstairs of the student center, and probably half of the school was there singing. I watched as this guy, Adam, got up and left the building. He really didn't look very good, and he was holding his chest. I watched him try to make it to the deck, but he kept having to lean up against something. Thankfully, someone else was watching him too, and ran out to him. When she tried to put him in a chair, he fell right out and collapsed on the ground. He was carrying his medicine on him, so Anna gave him that, but he was having seizures and wasn't responding to us. Thankfully, the paramedics came right away. As he left they told us he didn't need Oxygen, because he was breathing on his own. That was really good news. I'll have to report more later, because it only happened 2 hours ago, and we haven't heard any more news. I had to explain what happened to his mom on the phone, because I was the only one who saw the whole thing. It has to be scary for his family, being so far away. Adam almost couldn't come out here this fall because of how the altitude might affect his asthma. It's scary stuff! Him and his family would appreciate prayers! As would us students here, it shook everyone up quite a bit.
Well...It's getting late, and I have to be up early. Good Night!!
