Monday

The stomach flu is going around and within 24 hours, a quarter of the school has it already...and I would be one of them. We are in such a close environment that it was pretty inevitable that everyone would get it. Some people have been super sick, but I was lucky to just get a mild case. Thankfully, I'm already feeling a lot better!
I spent almost the entire weekend in my room, hanging out with my roommates and watching "Friends" and "Saved by the Bell." It was such a boring weekend! Since I spent all that time laying in bed watching movies, today was SO hard on me. Today I actually had to STAY in bed, in my room and I am definitely in need of getting out. I think I'll be a lot better tomorrow, so I hope I can go to class (yup, I actually WANT to go to class!). I almost went to class tonight, but I don't want to help spread the flu anymore than it already has. My poor roommates...we were all dreading who would get it first and give it to the rest of the room....
But, I did pull myself away from my tv shows a couple times this weekend. My roommates and I went into Estes, and walked around town. It was beautiful! The weather was 55-60 degrees, and sunny! In Boulder it was in the upper 60's. It's the middle of January and I don't even need a jacket! Sunday was a lot colder when I got up for church. It was so great to be back at this church. It is becoming like a 2nd church family, so it was so nice to see everyone! I will start going to my "adoptive family," for lunch on sundays, which will be super fun. And, my "adoptive mother," is pregnant with their 3rd child, and is due in a week or two. It's very exciting. Sunday night I had youth group, which was also great to be back at. It was nice to see all my students.
Well, nothing too new or exciting going on...haha except that my roommate just saw a mouse and is freaking out.
