Somewhere along the line, Elijah decided he didn't want bottles anymore. He had been taking them for a while, but I let him go too long without one that now he refuses them. Today was official "Learn to Take a Bottle," day in the Hess house. It is now almost 4:00pm, and Elijah still has not had a full "meal" since 6:30 this morning. He drank a few ounces out of his bottle a few times, but that's it. Kind of surprising considering how much the kid usually eats. I'm just thankful he drank out of a bottle at all. I have tried a few different kinds, but this new one I found is the only one he will even take a few sips from. It's called an Adiri Natural Nurser, and you can see why. They look like a boob. It's a little expensive, $12.oo, but totally worth it to me! All the other bottles he turned away from, but he took this one right away and drank an ounce or two. He is gradually drinking more and more from it, we have a long way to go until he drinks the full 8 oz, but the other bottles he refused!

you are the second person in a week to mention these bottles. Crazy. Plus they are BPA-free. Yeah! Maybe Derek will try one!
