Elijah had a check up today, which came along with a lot of not so fun shots...poor little guy. He was so sad this afternoon that I brought him in bed with me and we snuggled while he took his nap. He is growing SO fast. He is now over 17 lbs and 25 3/4 inches!! He is in the 99 percentile on most measurements. Talk about a big kid! The doctor wasn't as surprised when she heard how tall Joel is.
After his appointment we went to the mall with Karla. It was a much needed afternoon out! And now, I'm up from my nap and Elijah is still sleeping! He has had some rough nights lately. It's not so easy waking up 2-3 times when you're used to getting a full night of sleep!! Anyway, we are having leftovers tonight and I'm going to hang out with a friend later on! I'm excited for a night out...hopefully Elijah will stay home with Daddy!
