(Joel took this in attempt to campture the St. Louis Arch)

Oh my. What started as a quick trip became a very long one! We missed our flight because of only being at the airport an hour ahead of time and very loooong security lines. So they flew us standby on the next flight to Milwaukee, an hour later. Unfortunately, we had a layover in Atlanta instead of a direct flight. Once we were in Atlanta, we found out all the flights were overbooked until 1:30pm the next day (I'm not quite sure why the lady in Baltimore didn't tell us that when we told her we would rather wait for a flight to Milwaukee in Baltimore, rather than get stuck in Atlanta). Anyway, with how short this trip was anyway, we knew we couldn't wait until 1:30 the next day. We ended up having to buy new tickets, thanks to my parents, from Atlanta to Milwaukee, with a layover in St. Louis. We were in 5 states on Thursday. But thankfully, once we bought the tickets everything went very smoothly, and the return flight was great. Elijah did SO well! He was great to travel with, minus the 2 leaky diapers. I'm a pro at changing a baby on a plane now! These are some pictures from our long day!
