Elijah has started climbing...EVERYTHING. It started with the couch on Tuesday, and I knew I was in trouble. He knows how to get up on things, but rarely knows how to get down. I have found him standing on his rocking chair, one leg over the back trying to get the wheel for his stroller. I found him today standing on the stroller, trying to see out the window. He can't walk yet, but he's everywhere! He has been extra whiny this week too...which makes for a stressful week for mom!

My Climber...
Elijah has started climbing...EVERYTHING. It started with the couch on Tuesday, and I knew I was in trouble. He knows how to get up on things, but rarely knows how to get down. I have found him standing on his rocking chair, one leg over the back trying to get the wheel for his stroller. I found him today standing on the stroller, trying to see out the window. He can't walk yet, but he's everywhere! He has been extra whiny this week too...which makes for a stressful week for mom!

Uh oh Kelly. I hear you. Derek is a climbing monkey too. Mm both mommies were gymnasts. I let Derek climb away and taught him safe exit strategies (ie feet first off things). It took him a while to be safe though. Hang in there!
Like father ... like son. I remember Joel climbing the tree at Jerry and Kathy's house at a family gathering. If I remember correctly, Becky was the one who suggested it :)
