This past September, we went to the beach with Joel's mom and sister, Sara. Besides the baby needing to go to the ER for a terrible respiratory virus, it was a very relaxing, beautiful weekend. The kids loved building sand castles, digging holes, and crashing in the waves. Elijah boogie boarded the entire day Saturday. I love getting away for a weekend. It's so refreshing in the midst of busy lives.
(One of my kids needs lots more sunscreen than the others. Ha)
