Today was a much needed laundry day! I went into Estes with a couple of friends and spent the whole afternoon washing clothes! The Laundromat is in a shopping center, so fortunately I was able to do some shopping while my clothes were drying! Man, I forget how much necessities are! I spent a GOOD amount of money on laundry detergent, clothes hangers, soap and all that jazz. I think from now on I'm going to send my mom a list of everything I need so she can get it for me ;o).
Speaking of my mother, I received a funny, yet adorable package in the mail today. It was a stuffed animal that resembles my kitty back at home. My favorite part of the present? The card inside the box that read: "Instructions: Squeeze and hug when you miss your furry black friend. Will never sleep on your face or wake you early in the morning!" and the best part of all? It was signed "Love, Mom," but it was anyone BUT my mom's handwriting. Haha...needless to say it made me laugh!
