E-L-I-J-A-H

I am working on getting Elijah to sleep through the night again. Sigh. He slept through the night at 7 weeks old, but lately he has been waking up in the middle of the night. Since I know he can make it all night, it's really frustrating. I blame it on me letting him fall asleep while he is eating. I read that when you allow your baby to fall asleep eating, or being rocked, the baby will wake up in the middle of the night, and not know how to fall asleep on his/her own. It's better to put him in his crib awake, so he learns how to fall asleep. Since Elijah was sleeping all night even after I let him fall asleep eating, I didn't worry about it, but I am realizing that it is affecting him now. So, all week I would not let him fall asleep eating for naps or at night, and the past two nights he has made it until morning.
We all have a position we like to sleep in: stomach, back, and side. I always would place Elijah on his back, but one day I realized he always seems to sleep well on his side. The next time I went to lay him down, I turned him on his side and he almost instantly fell asleep. It's really humorous! He will be SO fussy and as soon as I flip him on his side, and no joke, he will be asleep in seconds. It's really cute!
Ugh, he decided he doesn't really like his bottle anymore. Picky Picky.
