Thanksgiving Weekend

I am having the hardest time keeping up with this! I'm worse off when I neglect it, because then I have to catch up on twice as much! So here it goes!
Wednesday was our first day of break...thank goodness! It was much needed. My adoptive family is gone until December 3rd. They gave me the keys to their house, so I have been spending hours and hours alone there, doing homework, watching movies and just relaxing! It's absolutely wonderful. Wednesday night a few friends came over and we baked an apple and pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. Even the guys helped!
Thursday we drove to Jon's appartment and made a whole Thanksgiving feast. Turkey, mashed potatoes, beans, rolls, pies...even fresh corn overnighted from Lancaster co. (Thanks to Andy cakes mom!) We had to make a last minute walmart run for the rolls and carrots. We couldn't find them anywhere, only to discover yesterday that they left them in my adoptive family's refridgerator. Haha. We hung out at his place all day, rented movies, played Monopoly (I hate that game!)...all that fun stuff.
Friday I did absolutely nothing. I sat in my room the entire day...it was great! Friday night I went downtown Estes for the adorable Christmas parade. It was pretty good for a small town, the lights were incredible!
