Weekend!

I love weekends here at school. They are SO relaxing! Friday night I hung out with Laura, Cakes and Joel. Here in Estes we cant find ANYTHING to do at night, so in search of "The Mighty Ducks," 1, 2, and 3 (which sadly, we could not find), we had a grand evening of doing pointless, yet fun things! We started at the video store, which turned into coffee at Starbucks. After sitting there for an hour, we moved to our little room at the Stanley Hotel. It's a tiny room with a Starbucks that closes at 3pm-weird-with couches and a TV. It's so perfect for us, because we enjoy getting off campus, but nothing is open late at night...so we adopted it as our own hang out place. So at the Stanley, Laura jokingly suggested that we play "hide the thimble." She didn't expect the guys to take it so seriously, but they did, and we played "hide the gym pass" for an hour. We would hide it somewhere in the little room, and everyone would have to find it. I know, I know...we sound like little kids, but like I said...there is NOTHING to do in Estes past 8pm. After that fun game, we drove to Loveland to the super walmart there. We played the shopping cart game: We divided into 2 teams, girls vs guys, and found 10 items from random places around the store. Then, we switched carts and had to put them all back. First team done, wins. Us girls definitely won, Laura and I made a great team. HAHA the boys gave us items like a ladder and a bike. It was ridiculous!
Today I woke up early (haha 9am) and went into town with 3 loads of laundry that needed to be done. Afterwards Joel and I sat in Starbucks until almost 4, doing homework and chattin (more like procrastinating!). We met up with Cakes and Laura and drove into Denver to their friend John's apartment. We at a wonderful meal-frozen pizza-then went to the Flat Iron mall. After the mall we watched a movie, made snow cones with Laura's new ice shaver, and then raced home for our dumb 12:oo curfew...and here I am!
