Conversation with Joel as he shows me his new construction ear plugs...
Kelly: "Did you buy those because Trigger ate your old ones?"
Joel (with the earplugs in): "What?"
Kelly:"Did you buy those because Trigger ATE YOUR OLD ONES?"
Joel: "No, they're new...they aren't eight year old ones!
Kelly:"NO, ate your old ones."
Joel: "No! They aren't EIGHT YEAR OLD ones, they're new!"
Even after Joel took the ear plugs off it took us a while to figure out that the sounds coming out of our mouths were the same, but we were saying totally different things!
